A Sacred Wrap

“A Sacred Wrap is an ode to flowers and their quiet wisdom. In nature, flowers exist to attract life, to seduce pollinators with beauty, fragrance, and color, ensuring the continuation of the living world. Yet their journey does not end when they are picked. Across India, flowers remain a living language offered to the divine, exchanged in love, used to honor guests, celebrate milestones, and mark life’s sacred thresholds.

This collection was born in collaboration with the Rupa Foundation in Mumbai, which rescues thousands of flowers discarded daily from temples and mosques, transforming what would otherwise be waste into natural dyes. Their work reveals a simple truth: beauty never disappears, it merely changes form.

Dyed with these sacred flowers and crafted from natural fibers, each garment is a reminder that clothing is our second skin. In a world saturated with petroleum-based textiles and synthetic dyes, A Sacred Wrap invites us back into relationship with the earth—with fibers that breathe, colors that carry memory, and materials shaped by the cycles of nature. To wear these garments is to wrap oneself in an offering: a celebration of beauty, reverence, and the enduring gifts of the natural world.” - Kavita Parmar
