FALL CELEBRATION: Music, Cacao & Cloth

A new batch from 11.11 has finally arrived at the studio - a collection of early fall pieces we’ve been eagerly awaiting.

This year’s monsoon rains in India slowed the natural dyeing process, with its repeated cycles of dipping, dyeing, and drying outdoors. That is part of what draws us to natural dye: it responds to rain and sun, to water and time. It carries the weather of its making.

Now the rains have reached New Mexico, too. To welcome fall and share the Monsoon collection in person, we’re gathering at the studio this Saturday. Bear Meyers will play saxophone from 11-1, and Maya will pour complimentary cacao from 11-2.

Maya is bringing Pomegranate Orange, bright and tangy with spices, flowers, pomegranate, and orange, sweetened with dates and local raw honey; and Classic, a rich sipping chocolate made with heirloom Chuncho cacao, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla.
