Samantha is a rising star, a rare talent, genuine and bright. Her work is deeply rooted in traditional methods and local materials, blending ancestral knowledge with her own artistic vision. As the founder of kotó, Samantha personally oversees every step of her process—from hand-preparing dye baths using indigo, cochineal, and wild marigold, to stitching intricate shibori patterns on linen, cotton, and silk, and finally sewing each piece into stunning garments. Her commitment to craft, sustainability, and heritage results in clothing that feels both timeless and deeply connected to place.
