Weaving Workshop with Sedona Rigsby

Weaving Workshop with Sedona Rigsby

Create Your Own Wall Hanging or Altar Cloth
(For beginners and experienced weavers alike — all materials provided!)

Spend a cozy, creative day weaving your own wall hanging or altar cloth, up to 36" in length. Whether you’re picking up a loom for the first time or expanding your skills, this immersive 5-hour workshop offers a chance to explore, experiment, and connect through fiber art.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of the rigid heddle loom, explore clasped weft weaving for color and texture, and finish your piece with techniques like hemstitching and mounting to a dowel. Along the way, we’ll share stories, find rhythm in the loom’s movement, and enjoy a day of mindful creativity.

All materials are provided, and looms are pre-warped—just bring your curiosity! Leave with new weaving friends, fresh inspiration, and a beautiful handwoven keepsake to treasure or gift.

Cost: $275
Spots: Only 5 available — contact to reserve your spot!

Instructor: Sedona Rigsby, Santa Fe-based weaver and designer blending ancestral wisdom with modern craft.
